Job Title Credit Risk Analyst

To identify all risks of a credit deal and reasonably measure them, to monitor and identify all risks of the asset portfolio and reasonably measure them, in accordance with the Bank's credit policy to recommend to the Credit Committee the acceptability of a particular business deal, and to monitor the performance and quality of the assets on an ongoing basis.Key Responsibilities:
" To draft credit proposal for Credit Committee consideration
" To provide administrative support to Credit Committee Meetings
" To generate periodic reports from credit management system and ensure they are produced on a timely basis
" To review credit system reports, note, document and report irregularities to the Head on regular basis
" To perform credit review and research of industry and customer related information for all new proposals and at least on an annual basis for existing customers
" To monitor and analyse performance of the lending portfolios and sub portfolios.
" To coordinate with Internal Audit, Finance and Corporate Banking department in connection with the credit application and clients performance monitoring
" To produce general report on local market semi-annually for management information; and
" To ensure all matters connected with correspondent banking issues, exchange control documents, set-up limits, monitor the utilization of limits, etc. are completed accordingly
" Monitor and analyse operational risk events/issues and make recommendation to reduce any operational risk exposure.
" Undertake any other relevant duties assigned by the Department Head from time to timeKnowledge & Experience Requirements:
" Bachelor's degree, Finance, Accounting or Economics are preferred
" 3-5years working experience in local market in credit analysis, familiar with local industries and enterprises
" Adequate knowledge in commercial banking products, including loans, trade finance, counterparty business, etc.
" Adequate knowledge in financial reports analysis, cash flow and ratio analysis
" Understand credit issues in Basel, rating agencies, local regulations
" Writing and communication skills" Bilingual in English/Mandarin required for communication with Head Office in China.Capability Requirements:
