DEPOSITS AND PRICING PRODUCT MANAGER
LOCATION – NYC
The Deposits and Pricing Product Manager is a collaborative product leader will manage the development and continuous enhancement of the bank’s deposit products, and ATM/debit card products to meet the bank’s business objectives.
The Product Manager uses their abilities to successfully collaborate with others and build consensus towards the development and execution of enhanced product offerings.
This role requires a sense of urgency and a passion for results. It is a hands-on product management position that works across the entire product lifecycle from product-market fit, customer experience design, implementation, go-to-market delivery, performance measurement and post launch support.
In this position, you will:
Lead the launch of new products and enhancement of existing products under management by connecting all related parties to close any gaps our current product offering has against our competition.
Manage the operational implementation of new products and product enhancements.
Manage a disciplined Deposit Pricing process that drives cost effective deposit growth to fund the bank’s balance sheet that includes:
Working closely with Treasury and Finance teams on interest rate and liquidity risk positioning
Monitoring macroeconomic trends and the competitive rate environment
Presenting and defending deposit pricing recommendations to Senior Management
Designing, implementing and analyzing of deposit pricing market tests
Create and maintain a list of all the products and services under management.
Maintain up to date documented competitive and market analysis
Maintain Product Development Roadmap for Deposits and ATM/debit card products, constantly incorporating enhancements to existing products and the launch of new products, based on competitive analysis and in partnership with Sales and Business heads.
Apply product development process best practices to ensure the product development initiatives comply with the bank's Product Development Policy, responsibilities and requirements.
Research and document detailed product requirements to ensure that products meet business needs, performance objectives and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Provide analytical support by monitoring, analyzing existing product performance and providing actionable insights. Also in partnership with Finance, develop business cases to justify product launches and enhancements (as needed).
In partnership with Marketing, execute marketing plans for products under management.
Be a source of product information for all stakeholders of the bank including training and communicating product features, benefits and performance through formal presentations and bank-wide written communications.
Address customer complaints and issues in a timely fashion and recommend enhancements to current processes to improve customer experience.
Support other operational and administrative tasks for the units as needed.
To be considered, you will need:
Minimum 3 years of deposit pricing or deposit product management.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferably in business, economics, statistics, or related field.
Strong conceptual thinking skills with an ability to problem solve, recommend solutions and intuitively prioritize business issues in a matrixed organization.
Effective organizational, presentations skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and foster collaboration and teamwork.
Microsoft office suite with marked proficiency using PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
