Loan Operations Assistant II
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing documentation exceptions and recordings for all loan closings as well as assist the Loan Operations Officer in post –closing loan review. This individual may at times be required to oversee projects assigned by the Loan Operations Officer including creating procedural drafts for the same. Daily tasks will include loan maintenance, loan data entry, pay-off processing and customer communications.
Required to establish loans on the banks Core system based on loan documentation and products offered.
Prepare and Review loan payoff quotes for expenses prior to release.
Assist in the preparation of collateral loans to FHLB or other 3rd parties.
Preparation of Loan Reports as assigned.
Loan system data and Product rate index maintenance.
Oversee document exception tracking updates and provide timely reports of unresolved items.
Assist in drafting and revising departmental procedures as assigned.
Assist in any and all tasks to provide a quality loan servicing environment.
Perform due diligence on documentation relating to loan package purchases as needed.
Oversee the processing of investor loan servicing reports and application of payments.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word is required, Ability to multi-task and prioritize is key, Good communication skills, both written and verbal, Minimum 3 years experience in a loan servicing or post closing environment.
