The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing a portfolio of customer groups which includes institutional, middle market companies and individual customers. Incumbent is required to maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, as well as research and develop new relationships with prospective customers in order to increase the size of the portfolio.
Work with customers to develop new business for the Investment Services team (including time deposits, cash management services, credit services, foreign exchange, etc.)
Manage client profitability and develop a profitable book of business by designing and implementing various strategies based on the needs and goals of each client relationship.
Research potential markets, develop client referral source and initiate contact with prospects to promote and sell the Bank’s products and services.
Monitor investment portfolios to ensure alignment of asset allocation with client’s investment objectives and risk tolerance.
Drive pricing strategies and target market initiatives for a full range of banking products.
Collaborate with business line managers and other internal customers in product business development.
Partner with team in developing and achieving the bank’s business goals.
Manage and maintain contact with trading desks and keep up to date on product availability, rates etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; MBA desirable.

Ability to manage a variety of projects and adapt to a changing work environment. Strong PC skills – MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel. Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal.
A minimum of 3-5 years related experience with investment products. A proven track record in developing business opportunities. Strong knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments and economic / investment principles.
