Commission could be 50% of base salaryWe are currently looking for a seasoned CORPORATE BANKING RELATIONSHIP OFFICER with a transportable book of business to join our Corporate Banking team. In this position you will generate business relationships and be responsible for the development and maintenance of non-credit and (credit relationships) with governments, not-for-profits, commercial customers, corporate accounts, and potential customers while rendering quality service in accordance with bank goals to attain growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
 
In this position, you will:
"    Introduce and close on government, not-for-profit, and commercial business deposits and cash management opportunities developed through your own sources and our existing client portfolios
 
"    Generate $100 million in deposits annually, a mixture of high and low-cost deposits
 
"    Be responsible for generating a minimum of $50,000 annually in net treasury management/cash management fees from existing and new clients
 
"    Be responsible for developing new customer relationships and managing a portfolio of customer relationships with a heavy emphasis on deposits, as well as cash management
 
"    Visit with clients and prospective clients regularly, interview and analyze their operations, and recommend various cash deposit and cash management solutions
 
"    Provide clients and prospects with deposit solutions between interest-bearing accounts, Money Markets, CDs, etc.  Effectively work with other parts of the bank to provide clients and prospects with longer-term deposit solutions
 
"    Assess a client's cash management structure and recommend products or applicable services
 
"    Build effective relationships and trust with clients and potential clients by listening to and uncovering their needs and educating them about the bank products and services that are most appropriate for their situation
 
"    Build effective relationships and trust with key internal individuals - Relationship Managers, Team Leads, Branch Managers, Area Branch Managers, etc. to build client opportunities and coordinate a team approach to client successes
 
"    Demonstrate strong teamwork abilities to assure success for our clients, the team, and Popular Bank
 
"    Be eligible for an incentive compensation plan based on production
 
To be considered, you will need:
"    Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
 
"    Minimum of 12 years of experience in deposit gathering; cash management; and/or relationship management
 
"    An established portfolio of government, not-for-profit, or commercial customers - a broad network of clients who can direct checking, money market and time deposits
 
"    Strong track record of effective sales, client solutions, and client satisfaction
