Description

The Cash Management Officer serves as a consultant with a high level of expertise of cash management products, services, and processes. The successful candidate leverages that expertise to provide clients and prospects with best practices and customized solutions.

The Cash Management Officer is responsible for the growth of cash management revenue by supporting our Corporate Deposit Bankers, their clients, and prospects, while cultivating relationships with our Credit Team Relationship Managers and our Banking Branch Managers. This person will partner well, provide client consultation and presentations, and help identify cross-sell opportunities for the rest of the Bank.

In this position, you will:

Develop cash management sales strategies for our clients and prospects across our varied client base – commercial, government, and not-for profits

Proactively identify cash management prospects from existing client base for cross sell opportunities

Provide consultation to help identify and propose solutions that meet the client’s needs, enhance their operating effectiveness, and improve their banking experience

Assist business line partners in the fundamental understanding of the cash management needs of our clients and prospects

Provide input to Senior Management regarding our cash management products and services with strategies to enhance our services and keep us competitive

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the cash management industry and competitor’s products and pricing to assist with developing marketing strategies and setting sales objectives

Ensure proper execution of all necessary agreements and implementation documents

Review monthly billing statements to ensure the clients are being properly charged for services

Assist in coordinating the resolution of operational problems reported by clients in a timely manner

Maintain and update your pipeline and call reports to enable your management to properly track sales and revenue growth by client and client segment

To be considered, you will need:

Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years in the banking industry

Minimum 5 years of Cash Management Sales experience

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred

Strong cash management knowledge of products, services and solution sets

Strong strategic and consultative sales management experience

Broad experience in both the sale and refinement of cash management products

Effective organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail

Strong problem-solving, negotiation & follow-up skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally
